This proposed campaign was created to bring attention to Oakley's
young consumers and the parents that support their activities.
By demonstrating what youth are able to accomplish with Oakley's products, rather than the brand visibility speaking for them, these kids are much more powerful than you'd think.
I couldn't have done it without scrappily-somewhat-last-minute choreographing and recording my awesome dancer-cousin to later rotoscope every frame in animation.
I've been so humbled to have received so many accolades for this animation and the moral support I received in those late (late) nights of forever tracing my cousin's every move.
(Fun fact– I cried for a whole 15-20 minutes at the 2018 Addy Awards after receiving "Student Best of Show."
That was also the night I met my future internship's Creative Director, and we became best friends later.
I'm sure I scared him then. Probably still do. #friendship.)
